Service was good.Food not so good. Very bland. I have to say that I was very disappointed.

Great atmosphere , Delicious food , reasonable prices , and the new owners and their staff are so friendly.

Loved it. Amazing little piece of heaven tucked away in Minnesotas upper east side. Try the Bud Light and tell me it's not to die for.

I eat here at least once a week in the summertime. Breakfast is my favorite with Eggs Benedict at the top of my list although all of the breakfast items are delicious. Dinner is good as well. Have not had a bad meal yet!!

Ok, not sure why it's taken me so long to stop by here. Really liked this place, they do breakfast (at least on weekends), lunch, and dinner. They have some standard things and a few creative things that give them their own flair. I like that in a place. Will be coming back for sure, lots of amazing sounding things to try! Cool atmosphere and the staff was super friendly.

The new owners have really turned this place around! The service was really good and the food was delicious! My only complaint is I don't understand how you have fruit flies in the middle of winter.

Always fun to go to every year we come up to stay at the cabins. Great Bloody Mary specials for breakfast

Outstanding spot! Perfect for northern Minnesota. Excellent food and service. Go here all the time when in the Nevis area. Ate there 3 out of 3 days the last visit. Family run. Met new owner and two of his children that were working --- super nice family. Best Ruben I've ever had! Excellent burgers. Very fair prices. A must stop at location if you're in the area. Oh, one more thing: A good variety of COLD beers!!!

Good food and family friendly place to visit when in Nevis.

Love there food but recieved very horrible service tonight. We ordered a to go order at 5:45pm tonight and they told me my order would be ready at 6:05pm. I got there at 6pm and the lady behind the bar asked if I had a call in order. I said yes. She went to the kitchen and asked when my order would be ready and the cook responded "what to go order". Then the waitress asked me what I ordered. I told her a pizza and a cubano. She went and told the cook, then came back and told me that they were finishing it up and it would be ready in a couple minutes. Then it was 6:25pm before she checked back with me. So she went to the kitchen to check on it again. Came back and said they were just wrapping it up. Got our food at 6:30pm and the Cubano and twisters were freezing cold, while my pizza was perfectly cooked.Usual have a way better outcome from them. Tonight was just a horrible experience.

Glad we made the drive for this place! Our burgers were awesome and our beer was cold! Our boys loved making s'mores at the table-so much fun! Definitely give it a try! I already have my eye on what I want to try next summer!

I enjoy stopping here. The staff is friendly, the owner was there and it in front of customers two it off the three times I've stopped in. I've had the great remedy burger (excellent), chicken noodle soup (good), garbage pizza(great), a big cookie for desert with ice cream (excellent). I highly recommend anyone to stop by.

Positives: Family owned, great service, full bar, fantastic food. We had the patty melt and the shrimp burger and they were both great. Negatives: Beer selection isn't great, and neither is their salad.

My burger was AMAZING!! The best I’ve had for a really long time!! And the sweet potato fries were awesome as well! I highly recommend this place!! Great service also!

We ordered pizza to go but I had to wait about 20 minutes after the scheduled time to get my pizza. They were very disorganised, they gave me the wrong change but then I found out it was the wrong receipt! The pizza was okay but it was quite a hassle!

Sat in an empty bar and restaurant on the second Saturday of deer hunting, drank my bud light.... server brought out food and took my empty bottle asked me if I would like another I said yes and also asked for my wife’s salad dressings(which didn’t come when the food was brought) sat at the table while watchingMy server count her tips and Completely ignor our table .. Bryan and Kathey had it figured out the new owners do not.... please look at the camera footage to verify this

I had Jan's chicken salad, it was excellent. The atmosphere here is casual sports bar and restaurant. Everyone liked their food. You can come and watch a game and eat well.

Bullwinkle's is a very nice place to eat. It was totally packed with people eating on a Saturday night when I went there. The special was Prime Rib and it looked great. They had three very cute waitresses working their butts off and always smiling. The burger I had was cooked perfectly and very juicy. They make a mean Long Island Tea also. I can't wait to go back this summer and party on the back patio.

While waiting 45 minutes for my food and being ignored by our server we saw her and her busser holding and petting a dog on the patio.Update: do not believe this owner. She is a LIAR who treats all bad reviews as fake news. For one we did call and make a reservation. Second, don’t you dare tell me we acted disrespectful or inappropriately towards anyone to put them in tears because we didn’t. Stop making excuses for terrible service and do better towards your customers.Update 2: you clearly don’t know which customers we were. You never sat us, we did not sit at the center table of the patio. We were in the corner, we did have reservations and were not rude.

Good food and neighborhood atmosphere make this place a good place to grab a bite. UPDATE 5/8/18 New owners have taken over and are doing a outstanding job with good food and outstanding service at very reasonable prices! If you in the area give them a shot you wouldn't be sorry!

We have found our new favorite place! The food and drinks are excellent. Portions are more than plenty. Nice atmosphere. I think I am giving up cooking.

Food was good but we did not get our salads. We were visiting so did not realize it until after we left. Ribs were a bit dry but tasty. I had the ribs but the other meals ordered were rib eye steak and chicken fried steak. Those meals did not get their salads.

We are from out of state and rode our ATVs to Bullwinkle' s on a Saturday night for dinner. It was very easy to access off the trails, the atmosphere was great (much improved from a couple years ago when my husband was here, and it was under different ownership), and the food was wonderful! Family owned and operated- mom, dad, and kids all working that night. We loved meeting the owners, & hearing their story! We will be back next time we visit!

went here with my boyfriend as a date while camping and had a great time, really solidified us coming back sometime. customer service was great and the whole atmosphere just makes you smile . not to mention the food was great, one of the only times i’ve actually eaten a whole thing of appetizers. love the vegetarian options as well, don’t see that much with family/small businesses
